Community Services Available

CDATF offers support to the local community to address issues the causes and consequences of substance use in the area.  These are provided through local community projects or by CDATF itself.  Further details can be accessed by clicking on the tabs below.

  • Community Safety Forum

CDATF funds a Community Safety Forum worker who coordinates two local community safety forums in the Clondalkin area, one which services the southwest Clondalkin area and one which services the North Clondalkin area. Both forums meet every six weeks and are made up of local people, community and voluntary services, local public representatives and the Gardai. The role of the Local Community Safety Forum is to feed the concerns of the local Clondalkin community to the Local Policing Forum on a wide range of issues relating to the wellbeing of those who live and work in Clondalkin.

  • Community Reps Forum

The community Reps Forum was established in 2021 and is key to the CDATF stakeholder involvement. They are a group of local people who live in the CDATF area. They seek to challenge the causes and consequences of substance use in our communities. They do this by advising the CDATF on issues that affect their communities. They are actively involved in the decision-making process at the CDATF board.
